As we’re heading to Krakow, we have the opportunity to visit Auschwitz, something that any right minded person should consider. It’s something I think everyone should experience if they get the chance.
Thing is, well, I’ll let the Auschwitz website describe the dilemma:
3. On the Museum grounds, visitors should behave with the appropriate solemnity and respect. Dress should be appropriate for a place of this nature.
Which, of course, is entirely appropriate.
The question is, does turning up in a 2 tonne lego brick constitute behaviour of solemnity and respect? Obviously, we’d mean no disrespect by doing so and our own dress would be sombre as befitting our age and general dullness – but what about the car?
You will notice a wee poll on the right of the page, we seek your thoughts!
